Busy girl

Very tiny beanie I made today.
Wow, I have been busy today. Not so much in the crafting sense, but in the putting pictures on Facebook and designing this and my other blog. I did make 2 hats today, so it wasn't like I didn't craft anything at all. Let me share with you a few pictures of things done in the present and past.
A dog coat. It is for sale on my Facebook page.

A smock I made my daughter for art class.
A dress I sewed for my daughter.
A baby bonnet made for my friend's sister.
A baby quilt, not yet finished for my Niece's baby.

A bear earflap hat that is for sale on my Facebook page.

Pinwheel baby sweater made for my husband's cousin's baby. This is the picture I forgot to take. Thankfully someone else remembered. LOL

Baby dress for sale on my Facebook page.

give away http://www.lifewithlissy.com/

This beautiful natural gemstone and Swarovski crystal bracelet is not for sale. The only way to get it for yourself is to visit the Life with Lissy blog. Here is the link. http://www.lifewithlissy.com/ This labor of love took 2 days of work and each and every bead was done by me. The chain and head pins are silver plated and the closure is a lobster claw. There are 22 natural gemstones and 16 Swarovski crystals and 4 Swarovski rondelles. This unique bracelet is one of a kind. There will not be another one made just like it. Go and enter to win the treasure. The value of this if sold would be $48.50.

Brown agate beaded with seed beads

I made this necklace awhile ago along with several others. This one and 2 others were in a local bead store for quite awhile. The other 2 sold, but this one did not. So it was given back to me to sell on my own. Summer time is when I do most of my craft shows so it is a good time to get it back plus I get to show  it to all of you. It is a slice of a rootbeer colored agate. I tubular peyote stitched around it encasing it. The back resembles the front and is open so when the light hits it you can see all of
the beautiful colors. I just did a simply chain for it

because I wanted the agate to be the center of attention. Wearing this will get you noticed and everyone will want to know where you got it. It is for sale. The price is $20 +shipping.

Turquoise and silver

I worked on this necklace for about 3 days. Had a little trouble with the clasp. I tried to do something a little different and it didn't work out. I am still very happy with it. I think I should have good luck selling it this summer. I will ask around $25. It is just a simple spiral stitch, but it does take awhile. The toggle is peyote weave and the heart is glass.

Some of my latest works

Most of my craft supplies are packed up because we were suppose to be moving. I was ok for awhile, but now I am like an addict going through withdrawl. I need it! I need yarn, I need thread, needles and brightly colored beads. I must have them! There is this voice inside my head that says your hands can not be still. They must create something! Something for me, for the kids, to sell, to give away. Something, anything! I took a trip today to my local favorite bead store, Ellacinder's. Great store, even greater people. Not just a bead store, but friends too! I restrung 2 bracelets and had the need to make myself a bracelet and buy some beads to create some other things. I am also someone who is driven to learn and try new things. I made a soda tab belt for my daughter and a soda tab bracelet for myself. I also wove my youngest daughter a belt made from nylon rope using the Cobra weave. I hope to get some Paraord and make bracelets, belts and other things. For now here are a few pictures of what I have done. Keep crafting!
